How It Works
- Email us at info@afinepairofshoes.co.uk and we'll organise the Second Life service with you.
- Send your Astorflex footwear to AFPOS.
- We send the pair directly to Astorflex in Italy.
- Astorflex's craftsmen carry out the refurbishment and resoling.
- The completed pair is returned to AFPOS.
- We send them safely back to you.
Typical turnaround is up to six weeks, although many pairs are completed sooner.
Around the World and Back Again
The Astorflex Dukeflex boots featured in this article are a testament to what quality footwear is all about.
Over the years, they have travelled thousands of miles, accompanying their owner on journeys across the globe. From everyday wear to international travel, they have been a trusted companion every step of the way. Like all great boots, they became far more than just footwear.

Eventually, however, the natural crepe sole reached the end of its working life. While the uppers still had many years ahead of them, the boots needed expert attention to continue their journey.
Thanks to Astorflex's Second Life programme, these well-travelled Dukeflex boots were given exactly that. Rather than being retired, they returned to Italy for refurbishment and resoling, preserving all the character, comfort and memories they've accumulated along the way.

Sent Back to Italy
Rather than replacing the boots, they were returned to the Astorflex workshop in Italy where the brand's own craftsmen carried out the refurbishment.
