Delivery Options

We work with a number of domestic UK and International couriers to bring you the most cost effective shipping solutions available.

Within the UK we use Royal Mail, DPD and FedEx. Internationally we use Royal Mail, Parcelforce, Fedex and DHL. 

With international shipments delays are possible at customs so please be aware that all delivery times quoted are guides only and we are not liable for any costs incurred for late delivery.

Our parcels are sent fully checked and carefully wrapped for transit and we also e-mail you the tracking number so you can watch your order progress through the courier network. 

You can track the parcel's progress by logging into your account, viewing your orders and clicking the link for the order you are tracking.

Please be aware that we use tracked delivery services due to the value of most of the items we ship, therefore we require a signature/identification on delivery. If you want a parcel left unattended at your property, the courier may do so, but you must be aware that once the item is scanned by the delivery driver as delivered we will not be liable for any loss. This means that, although we will ensure the item is delivered by the driver, we cannot accept any responsibility if the parcel is missing or damaged. We would always recommend signing for the item personally for this reason.

Please note that only orders placed before 12pm (Midday) Monday to Thursday are eligible for DPD or FedEx next day shipping. Next day delivery orders received before 12pm (Midday) on a Friday will be shipped on Friday but delivered on Monday unless Saturday delivery has been specified and paid for. 

Orders under 2kg from the Highlands of Scotland, Isle of Man, BFPO and Northern Ireland are all sent by Royal Mail.

NOTE : Aerosols can only be shipped by DPD or FedEx to addresses in England and Wales (United Kingdom). If you have a Scottish shipping address we can also ship to some areas, but you will need to email us to check in order to be able to place an order. Im afraid we cannot ship aerosols to Northern Island, Channel Islands or any Offshore UK addresses.

International Shipping Rates

European Union Countries :

  • Free express shipping (3-5 days) via DHL/ FedEx when you spend over £400
  • 0-1kg - £12-£15
  • 1-15kg - £20-£25

* £400 spend is calculated AFTER VAT is removed and any discounts are applied. 

Oceania Countries (eg Australia/ New Zealand)

  • Free economy shipping (10-25 days) via DHL/ FedEx when you spend over £400 (only for parcels under 7kg in weight*)
  • 0-1kg - £16-£30
  • 1-10kg - £25-£80

Rest of World Countries

  • Free economy shipping (10-25 days) via DHL/ FedEx when you spend over £400 (only for parcels under 7kg in weight*)
  • 0-1kg - £16-£25
  • 1-10kg - £25-£80

*A standard £35 is payable on eligible free shipping orders heavier than 7kg. This will be advised and invoiced separately after the initial order if appropriate.

** Shipping to outlying/ rarely shipped to destinations may incur additional charges which will be advised after checkout is completed.

PLEASE NOTE: Export of aerosol spray cans is prohibited by all International Postal Services. If you place an international order containing aerosol items, you will be refunded for these items.

International Shipments are sent by the fastest and most appropriate method for the package weight and cart amount spent. We use FedEx, DHL and Parcelforce as well as Royal Mail International Services. Typically parcels over 2kg in weight are sent tracked by courier. Smaller parcels under 2kg are sent by tracked Airmail services. Delivery times depend on the courier used.

All in-stock international orders received before midday Monday to Thursday will be shipped the same day. Orders received on a Saturday/ Sunday and Monday morning will be shipped on Monday .

Actual charges (especially for international packages) will depend on weight and destination country and will be disclosed in the shopping basket at the time of order. Duties & Taxes

Please note that orders from NON-UK countries have 20% tax deducted at source when you select the country of delivery on our site.

 

 

International customers can now purchase from us with a fully 'landed' price. Its now easy to pre-pay duty, taxes and associated fees so you know exactly what the shipment will cost you - no surprises! The taxes and duties are calculated by our partner Swap Global and are industry leading suppliers for this.

In the event of replacements or repairs being sent to non-UK countries no duty is normally charged.

Cancellations

If you decide to cancel your order prior confirmation of shipping, please call us on 01926 954563 or please contact Customer Service via email at info@afinepairofshoes.co.uk. We will immediately cancel your order and fully refund your payment. Confirmation of cancellation will be emailed to you. Unfortunately once the order has been shipped, cancellations are no longer available and the order must be treated as per our return/ refund policy.
