Trickers Bernwood - Dark Brown Hydro Nubuck
Description
The Tricker’s Bernwood is a British made Service Boot alternative, built in a Tricker’s style, in a Hydro Nubuck, with a Dainite sole. It’s also Goodyear welted with a Barbour welt, making it durable and moisture resistant.

The Inspiration
Logger boots are designed to be worn by workers in the logging and forestry industry, hence the name. They are used to work through forests, brush, woodland, and other types of undergrowth, and to aid in any climbing needed. We have chosen a new leather called hydro nubuck which is tanned using a special weatherproof treatment, this means you can really get caught out in the April showers and your feet will remain dry. The style is finished off with brass eyelets and cream Barbour welt and Dainite sole.
The blend of stylish finish with rugged functionality encapsulates the individuality of the Tricker’s wearer.
- This high quality European side leather has a water resistant tannage. Oil impregnated this offers a high level of weather resistance without compromising on the beautifully soft nature of the skin
- Like most water repellent leathers they are not designed for walking through water however in rain they should cope very well.
- Aftercare, let them to dry naturally and then brush off any loose dirt with soft suede brush.
Dainite Soles
This is a rubber sole with large studs that provide grip, whilst not so traditional, they do provide good all round grip and durability for most surfaces.

This sizing guide aims to provide you with as much information as possible to ensure the best fit for you. We have provided internal length measurements in the table below for every last shape so that you can make an informed choice.
Steps to getting the best fit
- Measure your own feet in centimetres. The simplest way to do this is to draw around your feet on a plain piece of paper, keeping your pen vertical at all times. Then take a measurement from the heel to the tip of the longest toe.
- Round up the measurement to the nearest 0.5cm and then add 1cm extra to this measurement (if you have slim or regular width feet), or add 1.5cm to this measurement (if you have wider feet).
- Look for the required brand and last on the table below and read downwards to find the size closest to your required measurement.
(Example 1: You measure your feet and your longest foot is 27.9cm. Round this up to 28cm. Now add 1cm at least to this (29cm). You're interested in the 915 Berwick last, so read down this column until you get 29cm. This would mean you'd need a size 9 UK in this last.)
(Example 2: You measure your feet and your longest foot is 31.3cm. Round this up to 31.5cm. Now add 1cm at least to this (32.5cm). You're interested in the 4444 Trickers last, so read down this column until you get 32.5cm. This would mean you'd need a size 12 UK in this last.)
Please note: these are only recommended length guides based on an average foot and will not give you an indication of width, depth or feel when the footwear is on the foot. We provide these measurements as an approximation of fit, but we make no guarantee that choosing a size based on this advise will be accurate.
If you have a low or high volume foot you may need to adjust the required size up or down accordingly.
Please be advised that we accept no liability for returns, should you disagree with any sizing assistance we have provided.
All measurements are shown in centimetres (cm)

International Sizing Conversion Chart
The conversion from American to UK and European sizes can be complicated because of rounding differences. Shoe models and manufacturers often have size differences. A UK 10 in one model may be a size US 10.5 or US 11 depending on the model or manufacturer. For this reason, the table below serves only as a rough guide and may simplify your search.
