- Saphir MDO (Medaille d'or 1925) is produced in France and is one of the finest lines of shoe care products in the world.
Saphir's suede eraser, or gommadin, removes dirt marks and shine from suede, nubuck and velvet-finished leathers.
The small block measures 5 cm x 2 cm x 4 cm and is ideal for removing those unsightly marks. The block is used by gently rubbing it over the mark, applying pressure as required. The block will crumble slightly- which is normal. A crepe or similar suede brush will remove the crumbs leaving a mark free finish.
