Here is a link to the article written by Simon Crompton of The Rake, about our new range and how we have listened carefully to our customers to design and make a range that compliments other styles currently available, while having an elegance and an edge to them.
Boots from A Fine Pair of Shoes own collection. The boots is made by Alfred Sargent and meets the level of their exclusive range.
I am previous owner of the double monk Ramsey's from AS and the Francis boots are equal in every aspect besides the handfinished bullet shine which the very friendly Julian at AFPOS has done especially for me (so the Francis actually outsmarts the Ramsey’s first impression).
I consider AS Exclusive range as one of the best ranges to buy shoes from in matters of quality, price performances and benefits. You get channel-stitched sole with natural welted edges and when buying from AFPOS you get a free pair of lasted shoe trees (!). I really enjoy when nice shoe dealers make their own collections. You get the same quality BUT they are much, much more unique.
I can’t wait for the weather to get better (snow) so I can start wearing the boots.
